There are many reasons to commission a custom piece of jewelry: old jewelry that is no longer being worn can be restyled and stones can be remounted, or you can start from scratch and design a truly sentimental piece.
The designer will counter sketch some basic ideas while learning your taste & discussing options.
Once a design is chosen, and a deposit is received, we begin
making the piece. Depending on the design it may be hand
carved or fabricated, or modeled using our CAD (Computer
Aided Design) software.
The casting is rough and needs to be cleaned, sanded, and polished before the stones are set. The casting is checked over thoroughly to ensure quality - jewelry, with proper maintenance, should last a lifetime - just like the sentiment attached to it.
The diamonds or gemstones are set with precision by our expert craftsmen, and the finished piece is given a final polish.
The jewelry is then inspected one final time and Mark adds his signature.
